How will you greet your customers or guests today?
When you do that how will they feel about it? Will they respond positively to it or will they feel ignored and poorly treated? It all begins with our attitude. We are told that we have about five seconds to create a positive impression with our customers. What might impact that impression? A personal inventory is a great place to begin, as we start our day. How do we feel? How was the drive in to work…positive or frustrating? Are we tense and tired or have we already had a negative experience with someone? Just be sure to leave negative emotions or thoughts outside when you go to work. And remember, you are in the customer service business. Enjoy your day today! (click here to visit website!) Batson of Batson Chiropractic, Willowbrook Il, a Palmer Graduate, perform “Chiropractic Adjustments” or “Manipulation” for the treatment and restoration of spinal misalignments known as “Subluxations”. A Chiropractic adjustment as performed by Dr. Batson consists of hands on, gentle, non-twisting manipulation for the correction of a subluxation(joint misalignment), restoration of joint function, and the relief of associated soft tissue symptomatology. What is a Subluxation? A subluxation is a medical term describing a partial or incomplete dis-location of a joint. A spinal subluxation describes a condition where a vertebra “spinal bone” has lost it’s normal position in relation to the vertebra above or below. The subluxation can then cause irritation to the joint or nerve, “Facet Syndrome” or a “Pinched Nerve”, and possible associated pain. Doctors of Chiropractic such as Dr. Glen Batson of Willowbrook Il, are trained in the detection of, and restoration of, the spinal misalignment, “Subluxation”. Chiropractic comes from the Greek word; Chiropraktikos meaning “effective healing treatment by hand”. Doctors of Chiropractic, called Chiropractors, are trained in neuro-musculoskeletal analysis and physiology of the human body and detection of abnormal spinal or joint function. The premise of Chiropractic care is that all body functions are the result of neurological energy, “nerve impulse”, emanating from the central nervous system. It is the neurological impulse that is the life source for all body functions. Spinal nerve roots which are an extension of the central nervous system exit the spine to carry the neurological impulse, our life source, to all body parts and systems. It is through trauma, stress, repetitive activities, or pathology that a spinal vertebra may become misaligned called a “Spinal Subluxation”, that or the neurological impulse may become compromised; a “Pinched Nerve”. Doctors of Chiropractic such as Dr. Glen M. Batson, of Batson Chiropractic Willowbrook Il, a Palmer College of Chiropractic Graduate, are trained in spinal and body bio-mechanics for the detection of, and restoration of, the subluxation or joint dysfunction. It is through gentle spinal and joint manipulation, Chiropractic care as coined by the Greeks, that Doctors of Chiropractic are able to help restore health. The essence of Chiropractic care is that the body has innate intelligence to heal itself if given the proper neurological and musculoskeletal balance. Our Spine Is our Life Line!! Should an aging family member’s will and powers of attorney be reviewed by an attorney? During the month of February, a free ½ hour document review is offered by Willowbrook attorney, Leroy Hansen. Schedule by phone – 630-323-1400.
