All Medicare Supplement policies in the State of Illinois are identical. When you are first eligible, either Social Security disabled, turning 65 or coming from group coverage, the coverage

is guaranteed issue. Thereafter, you can change to another carrier by providing evidence of insurability. You can change every year as long as you are in good health. Underwriting is very

lenient as most post 65 seniors have medical conditions. Even though all plans are identical, prices can vary as much as 30%-40%.

Part D is the Prescription Drug portion of Medicare and is available the same as Medicare Supplement and usually purchased at the same time. Open enrollment for anyone who did not enroll
