 The Village of Willowbrook held their annual 5K run on May 1st at the Willowbrook Community Park. This event was supported and sponsored in part by Jim Frankiewicz, Proforma Creative Impressions, Willowbrook/Naperville. Proforma supplied the Start/Finish Arch for the participants in the run, tear drop signs, informational banners, logoed back packs and the logoed shirts for both the youngsters and adults. Proforma also sponsored the water table along the route for the runners to keep hydrated; in retrospect Proforma said that because of the 44 degree weather that they should have offered hot chocolate also. Proceeds for the run will support the Gower Elementary School. Students at that school supplied the artwork that was printed on the front of all of the runners/walkers T-Shirts. Fun was had by all.
