I was thinking about our networking group this afternoon and these thoughts came to mind:
Platinum Networking Associates has this stated Mission: To provide excellence in business networking and promotion of business relationships through a structured and ethical referral networking organization.
The obvious goal in mind is the building of relationships, which will provide a trusting environment for business and can create new avenues for earning potential for us all. We all have things we need to sell, whether it is the services we offer or the products in our inventory.
Networking is a matter of partnering with others for the long haul and not for the quick sale. One of the dynamics of our group is that, while I may not have a need today for what everyone has to offer, I may tomorrow or I may know someone who does. Networking provides opportunity to us all.
It is always easier to achieve what you want, when you help someone, who has a complementary interest, get where they would like to be.

Network marketing is all about communication, and building relationships.
When you network with others, you discover ways in which you can partner with people, creating new avenues for earning potential. Selling people stuff is short term. Partnering with them is for the long haul, and when done right, far more profitable. It is easier to achieve what it is you want, when you help someone of complimentary interest get where they'd like to be.
